University of Buea
Established in 1992 following major university reforms in Cameroon, the University of Buea is structured on the British Anglo-Saxon tradition. It is widely regarded as one of the premier higher education institutions in Cameroon, offering a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university operates across multiple campuses, with its main campus situated at the foot of Mount Cameroon in Buea.

- Tuition: XAF 50,000 to 1,000,000 per year
- CEMAC citizens: 50,000 XAF/year statutory fee; foreign students: 600,000–1,000,000 XAF/year (~$85/year national; ~$1,000–$1,650/year foreign).
