Mekelle University
Mekelle University was formalized in May 2000 by the Government of Ethiopia through the merger of Mekelle Business College and Mekelle University College. The university operates across seven campuses and comprises seven colleges and multiple institutes, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It is highly regarded for its research in dryland agriculture, natural resources, and health sciences, and aims to be a leading research-intensive institution in Africa.
