Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology
Established in 1951 as the Kumasi College of Technology and granted full university status in 1961, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is the second public university founded in Ghana. The institution is organized into six colleges covering fields such as engineering, health sciences, agriculture, and social sciences. KNUST is widely recognized as a leading center for scientific and technological research and education in West Africa.
