Tuition
- No KHU fee figures could be verified — contact info@khu.ac.ke or +254 716 477 588. Given the evangelical foundation, ask about church sponsorship if you are entering ministry. As a private university KHU accesses HELB loans only, not Universities Fund scholarships. Kericho living costs are well below Nairobi. The University of Kabianga is also in Kericho County and is PUBLIC, so if cost is your main constraint it is the natural comparison — public institutions give access to Universities Fund scholarships that KHU cannot.
Admissions
- The national minimum for degree entry is a KCSE mean grade of C+. KHU's own requirements were not published — contact info@khu.ac.ke.
- IF APPLYING FOR NURSING: ask for written confirmation of Nursing Council of Kenya recognition, which determines whether you can register to practise.
- IF APPLYING FOR AN EDUCATION PROGRAMME: ask for written confirmation of Teachers Service Commission recognition.
- NOTE THE NAME: CUE's older records list it as Kenya Highlands EVANGELICAL University while newer listings drop 'Evangelical'. Search under both if you are looking for official documentation.
- Accepts international applicants
