Tuition
- YOUR SPONSORSHIP ROUTE CHANGES THE COST BY A FACTOR OF TWO TO THREE. Government-sponsored (public subsidised) students pay approximately RWF 300,000 per year; private and self-sponsored students pay roughly RWF 600,000 to 900,000. Establishing whether you qualify for government sponsorship is by far the most financially consequential question you can ask here — the same pattern documented at AMUCTA in Tanzania. Scholarships/loans available via REB and BRD student loans.
Admissions
- ENTRY: Advanced Level Certificate (A2 / S6) with AT LEAST TWO PRINCIPAL PASSES in core STEM or technical subjects.
- Provision is at DIPLOMA / A1 LEVEL rather than degree level — an important distinction if you are aiming at a bachelor's qualification. Ask about progression routes onward within Rwanda Polytechnic.
- Apply through the Rwanda Polytechnic student portal at mis.rp.ac.rw/student/signup, not directly to the college.
- ASK WHETHER YOU QUALIFY FOR GOVERNMENT SPONSORSHIP before anything else — it is the difference between roughly RWF 300,000 and up to RWF 900,000 a year.
- Scholarships or financial aid available
